The Interactive Advertising Bureau found that 75% of US senior executives plan to shift their budgeting from television to digital video ads.
Bad news for the TV industry, but great news for publishers! Viral videos seem to be where ad executives will be investing and counting on to be the next digital frontier, according to the latest IAB survey.
Almost a year ago, Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg solidified why this shift will happen in a call with investors: "Every night, 88 million to 100 million people are actively using Facebook during prime-time TV hours in the United States alone."
That’s a lot of eyeballs.
